Falcon School District 49 -  Banning Lewis Ranch Management Company helped to build a K-8 public charter school that is open in the neighborhood.  The new Banning Lewis Ranch Academy at Northtree is a 60,000 square foot state-of-the-art K-8 public charter school in Falcon School District 49.  The Banning Lewis Ranch Academy was built with support from the development’s homebuilders, bond financing, and the backing of the Banning Lewis Ranch Management Company – it was approved and built in less than one year without cost to the Falcon School District 49.

High school students in Banning Lewis Ranch are zoned into Falcon High School.  D-49 is a "choice" district, which gives students the opportunity to choose their school location based on availability (governed by the school district; subject to change).


SHOPPING AND SERVICES

Northtree at Banning Lewis Ranch offers quick access to Woodmen Road, one of the main east west boulevards that connects to I-25 North and South, as well as to the Powers Corridor, which offers among the largest areas of shopping, dining and entertainment in Colorado Springs. 

Northtree at Banning Lewis is located within 5-10 minutes of a brand new hospital being constructed by Penrose St. Francis.  It is also conveniently located within 15-30 minutes of Peterson Air Force Base, Schriever Air Force Base and the Colorado Springs Airport.  Powers Boulevard now connects to Highway 83, which in turns connect to I-25 just north of Colorado Springs making for an easy 45-minute drive to south Denver.
