Driving Directions (View Map - from map location turn west into Flying Horse development):
From I-25, exit #153 at Interquest Parkway.  Go east straight through stop light until turns in Hwy-83.  Follow Hwy-83 north past the light at Shoup Road, then take your next Left on Flying Horse Club Drive (Flying Horse development entrance - turn not shown on map).  If you get to North Gate Boulevard, you have gone too far.  Go to first round-a-bout and turn Right onto Barossa Valley Road.  Take next Right on Margaux Valley Way.  Take next Left on Rocking Horse Court.  Models located at 2287 Rocking Horse Court.  Colorado Springs, CO 80921

THE COMMUNITY

The Village of Sonoma (filings 12A & 12B) is located within the greater Master Planned development of Flying Horse.  Here you will find our new Reserve Series homes which have a focus on outdoor living.  Most plans offer multiple patios where options for outdoor fireplaces and water features will be common.

Flying Horse is also home to the newest school in the award winning Academy School District 20.  The campus is now open for grades K-9.  Construction continues, and high school grades will open one at a time for each of the following school years, continuing with 10th grade in the Fall of 2008.  The total project is scheduled to be completed with all grades attending in 2010.

The campus provides a safe, secluded setting that integrates all grade levels in a forward-thinking, content-rich study program.  With an amphitheater and special areas in which to display student work, "Discovery Canyon" promises to be as much a community as a place of learning, and its unique location, perfect for environmental studies, is expected to play favorably with the school's math and science emphasis.


SHOPPING AND SERVICES

Flying Horse is located 10 minutes from Chapel Hills Mall, a major regional shopping center. Also within 10 minutes is The Shops at Briargate, a lifestyle center, located at Highway 83 and Briargate Parkway.  The shopping area features 50 specialty shops and restaurants.  There are Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart and Target stores all within 10-15 minutes also.  Both King Soopers and Safeway have grocery stores within 10 minutes.  As the Flying Horse development continues to grow, commercial facilities will be added within the community. 


PARKS AND RECREATION

Amenities within the neighborhood include trails, open spaces, neighborhood and pocket parks, an in-line hockey arena, neighborhood Village areas, and extraordinary recreation facilities.

Nearby is also the Air Force Academy (5 minutes), the Santa Fe Trail (5 minutes), Fox Run Regional Park (5 minutes), the Western Mining Museum (5 minutes), the Briargate YMCA (10 minutes), IMAX and Cinemark 16 Theatre (15 minutes), Sky Sox Baseball (15 minutes), Garden of The Gods (20 minutes), Downtown Colorado Springs (20 minutes), World Arena (25 minutes), and World Class Colorado Ski Resorts (2 hours).
