Jackson Creek is located north of Colorado Springs off I-25. From I-25, exit at Baptist Road (exit 158) and go east.  Go about 1/4 mile and turn left (north) at the light on Jackson Creek Parkway.  Follow that to the first street and turn Right (east) on Lyons Tail Road.  Follow that up the hill and turn Right on Lacuna Drive (not shown on map).  Model is located at 15593 Lacuna Drive.  Monument, CO 80132.

Model Hours:  Monday-Saturday 10:00-6:00 p.m., and Sundays 12:00-6:00 p.m.

The district offers many specialized programs including a charter school. Children at Jackson Creek attend Grace Best Elementary School, Creekside Middle School and Lewis Palmer High School. A site is planned within Jackson Creek for a future elementary school.


SHOPPING AND SERVICES

The Chapel Hills Mall, one of two main regional shopping centers in Colorado Springs, is approximately 10 minutes from Jackson Creek. Castle Rock's popular Prime Outlet Stores is about 25 minutes north. Convenience shops, professional services and even a branch of the Pikes Peak Library are nearby in Monument. At Baptist Road and I-25 you'll find a Brookhart's Building Center, a new King Soopers, and several shops and eating establishments.  Monument Marketplace is constantly growing to meet the needs of Jackson Creek residents adding new retail stores and restaurants such as Home Depot, Wal Mart, Office Depot, Pet Smart, Chili's, Old Chicago and It's a Grind Coffee to name a few.


PARKS AND RECREATION

Fox Run Regional Park, only two miles east of Jackson Creek, offers picnic pavilions, ball fields and a complete trail system. The Sante Fe Trail system from Palmer Lake to Colorado Springs runs just west of Jackson Creek and is ideal for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Golfing enthusiasts will enjoy the championship public course at Gleneagle, immediately south of Jackson Creek. Gleneagle club facilities available with memberships include tennis, swimming and social activities.


EMPLOYMENT

Monument's location north of Colorado Springs and easy access to I-25 makes it an excellent choice for working in either Colorado Springs or Denver. Northern El Paso County is one of the fastest growing sectors for commercial development. Numerous high-tech companies, national and international employers are within 10 to 15 minutes of Jackson Creek. Future development of Northgate Park, just south of Jackson Creek, includes a new Oracle complex as well as other high tech companies. The United States Air Force Academy is located across I-25 and is easily reached from Northgate Rd.
